Wish I could have spent it like a normal christmas, but thanks to my eye problem which I got operated on I had to lie down all the time It sucks, but my family came to visit me.

Family shenannigans include a white elephant gift exchange which one of my uncles (who married INTO the family) referrs to the rest of us as "alcholic gypsy thieves". Every year at least fifteen people bring some kind of wine to go into the adult gift exchange

I find this poll to be discriminatory against people who live in the southern hemisphere, as it is hot as hell down here in the summer XD

As usual, family lunch and went to visit grandma. Mum's side of the family is Sunday.

Christmas Eve, went to my aunt's house and celebrated. Did gifts, had a big feast, did family stuff. Next day, opened presents with family at home in the morning, then got ready to go out to my other aunt's for more presents and eating and family gathering-ness. Chilled and watched TV with my cousins. Would have gone ski-dooing except that on this occasion, I'm fighting some kind of flu laryngitis. Ugh. So instead I drank lots of high quality tea. Then on Boxing Day, it's off to my aunt's for more eating and feasting and family gathering-ness. Only this time I'm gonna be quizzed on my Estonian >.<

Sara was the only one who brought her boyfriend... me and Lindsey were left all arone :<
