Sometimes, if I'm not quite sure what it is at first.

Sometimes I'll tilt my head if I'm truly interested in the picture to get a different perspective.

depending on what the picture is, i look at it both ways.

I find when I look at it right side up, it looks odd. Usually a person draws it to be upside down, so I don't flip it. xD

Sometimes. If we're talking about illustrations. Usually if I pick up a weird vibe from it. Something like "Oh this probably looks really skewed if I saw this right side up." Then I'd check. Otherwise I wouldn't. If it were a photograph I don't bother. I mean unless it's some surreal stuff, then either way I'd check for sure.

I do look at it the "right" way up out of curiosity but it's usually done for a reason so I'll look at it the way the artist intended afterwards
