I think the previous models were experiments leading up to 3DS although it's undeniable that it does pick my interest. Unlike the DSi etc

since my ds lite is finally starting to give out i'm gonna buy the 3ds. i'm just so glad i waited so long to replace mine (i almost got a dsi but decided against it)

I want it because I'm sure we will see a Star Fox game on it. Which I am all for. The only problem, I am a GBA guy too and I dont have any nintendo handheld at the moment since my DS lite was stolen. I will probably get a DS again soon so I can enjoy the awesomeness that is Sonic Advance and Megaman Zero. And get a 3DS when I can.

Ugh, I hated the controls for the Starfox DS game that came out. I hope the 3DS version will be closer to the N64 this time around (no touch pad bs)
