Ares was pretty lame for a supposed GOD of war. C'mon now. I still dont like Sentry though. He is just way too powerful. I mean they need Silver Surfer to go up against him and even then I am not sure how that battle would end considering that the surfer is far less brutal. At some point you'd think that Sentry would wonder if killing all these people might not be a good thing. Even if he is a lunatic.
I think all Marvel Asgardians and Olympians are pretty lame.
As for Sentry being way too powerful, I disagree since that's the basis of his entire character and role in the Marvel U. Hence his ridiculously fragile psyche. The guy's a victim of his own illness, don't hate >:

Well he would be more interesting to me if he were pitted against people who actually challenged is power like Void did. That fragile emotional state is a great weakness, but he needs to be pushed physically too. Yeah, aside from Thor the Asgardians are pretty weak too. That is really the only thing I don't like about him. He needs to be pushed BOTH physically and emotionally.

You know what, I don't think Brian Michael Bendis does a great job on these giant crossover things with lots of fighting, he's more of a dialogue and character development guy, so I was skeptical about Siege... But then the Sentry ripped him in half and my jaw officially dropped. Fully looking forward to the next one.
