Children's storybook based assignment. I decided to do a contemporary version of Little Red Riding Hood. Visiting themes like racism, prejudice and kind of poking at traditionalists.
"Red who's heading to Grandma's after school encounters a lost little Wolf in the big city.
At first she refuses to help him because of what he is and stories told by her Grandmother about how "evil" and "bad" wolves are. Going as far as calling him names and accusing him of stalking her for his next meal.
The wolf continues to follow Red without really knowing what else to do. Eventually he gains her trust by saving her life from an oncoming car while crossing the street. Red then agrees to let him stay at her Grandma's for awhile until they get things sorted out.
However, upon arriving at Grandma's the little Wolf is attacked by the ferocious old woman (who just so happens to be the original Little Red Riding Hood) as her childhood flashbacks came flushing into her head she becomes a violent crazy person.
Red, who now understands that not all Wolves are bad leaps in to to save her friend. She calls 911 on her cellphone and tries to retrain her Grandma until the cops arrive to subdue her.
As Sgt. Woodcutter leaves after calming Grandma down, she comes to terms with her traumatic experiences, approving Red's friendship with little Wolf.
In the end, little Wolf, Red and Grandma share a fresh batch of delicious cookies in the living room in wait of a phone call from his family."
Aww, that's so awesome! I love everything! The wolf is so cute, and Rd's sweater is awesome! I like the idea, and your art is wonderful and fits it perfectly!
Man! Your way of drawing is so loosen up, so flexible-like. Does it come from the confidence you have? After all, I'm sure you have to draw a lot of toilet paper to attain such high level.
Great art!
great job
