The low vantage point (looking up at her) really adds to her portrayal of being a intimidating and intensely strong character. This coupled with the high quality makes this masterfully done piece quite exceptional.
I think other than some questionable scenes between Satsuki and her mother, the show's pretty neutral?
There's a lot of nudity involved for all characters and there's no actual negative message regarding the female sex. I can see how it's objectively sexist for sure, but it's really not as bad as people perceive it to be relative to a lot of other Anime/Manga I've stumbled across.
I am talking only about the clothes. There is no way this was meant to be convenient or comfortable for the girl...I know those animes have a part of derision and non-serious stuff but here they are just showing as much skin as they can, it gets ridiculous. But it's my opinion I totally understand people disagree with it, I know it's not very popular but that's how I feel about it.
I particularly hate the piece of cloth covering her crotch, there's a point it's too thin... (same thing in most superhero comic books)
Yeah, I have to say you've made your point. I feel kinda stupid for standing my point without knowing much from the anime, but I guess if I feel that way other people might feel the same...looking at this magion02.deviantart.com/art/Ki… you don't really think the anime is about standing for women... But this is opinion about the artist not the anime, thanks for the eye-opening
not even a critic, but IŽd ask you to make her eyes dark brown or simply black. giving satsuki blue eyes makes the picture feel like is some other beautiful woman simply cosplaying as said character. just my two cents
my bad... maybe the tone just played my mind... yes she has blue eyes, I apologice for the lapsus.... but I felt they are glowing just a bit too much? I am not trying to defend myself, I apologice, I am just explaining how my mistake came out. my sincerest apologies
I see.. I am sorry, beter noticed satsuki eyes are blue, somehow I portrayed her as the perfect japanese woman, with thick eyebrowns and perfect marble skin, soI would see her eyes asblack even while they are blue there to be seen. I am sorry
